Fill out the right-hand section of the KWL chart you started for the Kohn article ("From Degrading to De-grading") -- "What I Learned."  [2B VOLSUNGS ONLY: Finish marking up the article that we began in class.  Put a "T" next to topic sentences, underline or highlight main points, write notes and questions in the margins, put boxes around unfamiliar words, and summarize the article at the end.]

#2. Complete a second grammar four-square (you can write on the back of your first one) with definitions, illustrations, and three (3) examples of each of the following:
  1. Pronoun
  2. Preposition
  3. Conjunction
  4. Interjection

#3. Read pp. 7-10 in your vocabulary book & be prepared for a small quiz!

#4. Cover your textbooks!  Bring them with you to class so that I can check them.
