1. a. Create a diagram of Prince Prospero's seven colored chambers, labeling each chamber with its color and a list of associations/connotations associated with that color. (story on pg. 495)
    b. Create a list of vivid images (words and phrases which appeal to the five senses and create "mental pictures" for a reader) that Poeuses in "The Masque of the Red Death" (story on pg. 495).  Be sure you note the page number!
    c. Create a list of interesting words which help create the mood of "The Masque of the Red Death." Be sure you note the page number!

2. Read and take notes on "By the Waters of Babylon" (pg. 175).
