The 2A Geats!

It was a thrilling, come-from-behind victory, with nearly 60 points submitted within the final 24 hours of the competition.  In the end, the other sections couldn’t beat the Geats’ sheer dedication and willingness to sacrifice their individual triumph for the good of the whole.  Congratulations, Geats!  You are all total ballers, and I mean that sincerely.  Way to make Beowulf proud!

Congratulations as well to our individual section winners: Mary Beth (Geats), Kelsie (Wægmundings), Abby (Ylfings), Emily (Scyldings), and Teddy (Danes).  Sorry, Völsungs, but even though you all technically tied, no baked goods for you!

This has been a lot of fun, guys – I’ve really enjoyed reading some of your submissions.  ALWAYS REMEMBER… even the most credible of sources – teachers, textbooks, widely popular news organizations, etc. – could be misleading you, whether intentionally or not…
